RELEASE NOTES
Feature + Update
Etimix version House. New functionality: Manage PIM data via API
Starting with this release, it is now possible to create and update product, attribute, logistics, media, and pricing data directly through the API. This makes it even easier to integrate Etimix with external systems such as ERP, data platforms, or iPaaS solutions (e.g., Power Automate).
Validations
A new functionality is now available in Etimix that allows you to validate your stored product information. By defining your own validation rules, you gain greater control and can ensure that your data meets the requirements necessary for publication. You can apply one or multiple validation rules per field. At present, these rules are available for product, logistics, and pricing data and are managed per set. Each set allows you to run validations on a selected part of your product assortment. Once the validation has been executed, you will receive an overview of the results, clearly divided into valid and invalid values. Click here to watch the video explaining the validation module in more detail.
Fields Manager
The amount of product information continues to grow. The number of available fields, both standard and custom, has increased significantly in recent years. In response to user requests, the Fields Manager has been introduced. With the Fields Manager, you can quickly and easily enable or disable fields in existing views. These field sets can be saved, switched between, and shared with your colleagues.
Various improvements
Several smaller enhancements have also been made, including:
- Display of invalid formulas in the text generator
- Updated start menu layout for improved clarity
- AutoPub HTML fields now also support attributes and CSS class names
- Improved support for the API and Azure Storage
Clearer imports, and smarter data tools
Etimix version Jones. Connect deeper, track smarter, and manage data your way.
Improved insights into ongoing and completed import actions
The dashboard now provides clearer status updates for ongoing import actions. After completion, validation and summary reports remain available. The media file download process is now also more transparent: you can see which files are still queued, which have been processed, and whether the processing was successful or failed.
Improvements in Data Management
Yes/No fields now include an additional empty status, indicated by a small dash in the center of the checkbox. This status shows that no value has been entered yet. You can set the value as usual, while clearing it is only possible using the Del key, copy cells or the Fill column option. Filter management has been expanded with a new list option. This allows you to easily filter on multiple values within a single field. The list of values can be pasted directly from your clipboard.
Various improvements
Several smaller enhancements have also been made, including:
- Bulk deletion of packaging types
- Flex formats (Direct import of media and accessories in a single import, Automatic merging of identically named Excel sheets in an export, Support for multilingual fields in XML)
- Default sorting by order number in the logistics view
- BMECat extension NL_004 for submission to 2ba

Deleted class insights, smarter DICO mapping, media preview, and API prep
Etimix version Sweetchuck. Gain clearer insight into removed data, streamline your media flow, and get ready for API integration.
Better insight into removed ETIM classes, features, and values
The Deleted Classes view now includes a visual alert when a deprecated feature or value within an ETIM group has been removed. A yellow warning highlights these cases, making it instantly clear when underlying elements have expired.
Import and export improvements
Preview mode for media import; When importing new media files, you can now preview them beforehand for better control and clarity.
Improved DICO media mapping; The DICO import and export standard has been refined, ensuring that product images are correctly recognized and linked to the proper media types—both during import and export.
Configurable GLN export fields in DICO; When exporting DICO files, you can now define which field should be used for the manufacturer’s or supplier’s GLN.
This setting is made during mapping setup and automatically saved for future exports.
API preparation: creating and editing product data
Work is underway to support the creation and modification of product data via the API.
This will make it easier to connect external applications with Etimix in the future.
*Note: this functionality will not yet be available in the upcoming release but represents an important step in our roadmap.*
